Also, just heard the twilight reference. That was hilarious! And I love the twilight movies! Dr. Shock I would gladly accept the twilight movies off your hands, I own the first on 4k but only have dvd format of the others. I would rate the whole series pretty highly, obviously not a horror series though.

Sorry a bit of my comment got messed up. Hatchet is my favorite series and reading I, Survivor, a faux autobiography, the one he was promoting in the movie, was great.

I am looking forward to Saw X. I agree that that this franchise is top tier. After rating the first I, survivor and it’s great.
Series rankings
1. Hatchet 9*
2. Friday the 13th 7.7*
3. Saw 7.4*
4. Halloween 7.1*

I tried rewatching NOES, but lost interest after 3. I do not like any of the original Evil Dead movies, especially 2&Army. The 2013 is by far my favorite and Rises was good.

Loved listening to this Saw franchise review because it gave me motivation to give 5-7 another chance and really enjoyed it this time around which lead me to finally watching Jigsaw.
Thank you

Good show with really interesting takes on the last two Saw movies. One thing that struck me was Ron bringing up his take on Scream 6, what episode was that? I felt like I missed that one.

Hi Carl,

I think this one got stuck in production hell and hasn’t seen the light of day yet. This was recorded right in the middle of when Jay was going through his health issues earlier this year. In case in never sees the light of day, let me just tell you that I began my rant with 6 horror avengers present and when I was done, I was the only one left — including Jay, who just let the recording go. Maybe I should take the hint! Ha!!
