Jay of the Dead’s New Horror Movies is an audio podcast. Our nine experienced Horror hosts review new Horror movies and deliver specialty Horror segments. Due to the large number and busy schedule of its nine Horror hosts, Jay of the Dead’s New Horror Movies will be recorded in segments, piecemeal, at various times and recording sessions. Therefore, as you listen to our episodes, you will notice a variety of revolving door hosts and segments, all sewn together and reanimated like the powerful Monster of Dr. Frankenstein!

Mr. Watson’s criteria for a franchise are very interesting. I don’t think I would have counted remakes before, but I don’t know why not; he makes a good case. Just because no one asked, in terms of the “Dead” franchise from George A. Romero, Survival of the Dead is definitely the worst. Too many people diss on Diary of the Dead, which I think is actually rather clever.

Of course, the BEST is Dawn of the Dead–side-eying YOU, Jay! 😉

Still listening to this massive entry – but I had to chime in to say that Ron is definitely wrong. The worst mask in the Halloween franchise is the CGI mask in H20. 😂

IIRC they used several different masks during H20. The CGI mask is only used in 1-2 shots, but it looks sooo bad.
