Catching up on GregaMortis’ new segment. ‘Monsters on the Mantle’–such greatness in the name alone!

I’m doing my best to post ‘shape of horror’ sightings I when see them, post those in the Horror Movie Weekly comments when I see them.

Rock on, GregaMortis!

Hello Kaiju Nick, glad you are digging the segment. I am loving going back to the atomic age and digging up some monsters. Hope you continue enjoying the show.

I love the format. Especially since it’s long form. The Relic is a top CND movie for me. To the fact I rate it a 10 and a frequent rewatch for me. I recently discovered the book and love the in depth ness. And a way better ending in the book. Of course Hollywood needs an explosive ending. Started reliquary a couple months back and seems interesting, similar to a CHUD type movie with underground homeless people.

I am originally from Tampa so I used to frequent Grindhouse before they moved. I hope to make it to Viper soon. Although I moved to the east coast I visit family often. Looking forward to future releases.

Hey, Sam! So cool that you’re also a Tampa bay native (I was born in St. Pete). You should definitely check out Viper. It’s smaller than Grindhouse, but it’s still a great place to get your physical media from. And the new owner, Shelby, is a really cool guy! Thanks for listening and we truly appreciate you commenting!

Thanks for listening, Sam!

I’ve really been wanting to collect all of the Pendergast novels, and I think it’s awesome that you’re reading Reliquary! Hell yeah! It’s right after that novel where he steps into the spotlight as the main character, I believe.

Anyway, my friend… thanks so much for writing in and giving us a chance! Much love.
